 Age Range: 4-11

Equipment needed: A4 sheet paper, black, yellow, green, pink and brown felt tip pen

Cow Palm Art

 

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw a cow? Well you can do so, simply by using the palm of your hand. ✋🐄

 

 

To draw your cow:

 

 Place your fist of your left hand on to your piece of paper with your little finger and index finger slightly higher than your other fingers and your thumb tucked into you hand

 

Draw round your hand

Draw two horns in each corner of your finger drawing similar to the image below

 

Draw two crescent shapes at the bottom of your horns with both heading slightly down for the cows ears

 

Draw a mouth in the middle of your cow drawing

 

In your mouth, draw two small black circles in each end. Add a line with two ends on each side as well just underneath this

 

Draw an eye on top of the mouth by drawing an oval shape with two lines in them. Make sure you colour the bottom of the oval with a black pen

 

Draw another oval next to the eye you have just drawn with two lines in them and colour in the bottom of the oval with a black pen

 

Draw a line going through the mouth similar to the image below

 

From the line you have just drawn, draw a flower with 5 petals in them

 

Draw two lines close to each other at the bottom of the cow's face

 

Add a bell at the bottom of your cow's face by drawing a reverse T-shape and a line going through half of it. Add a small circle at the bottom of this line.

 

Colour the horns and bell with a yellow pen

 

Colour the ears and mouth with a brown pen

 

Colour the petals of the flower with a pink pen

Colour the eyes and the bottom rectangle with a green pen and you have made your own cow palm art
