Dragonfly Palm Art

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw a dragonfly? Well you can do this, simply by using the palm of your hand. ✋🐝

To draw your dragonfly:

Place your left hand on a sheet of paper with only your ring finger and index finger facing to the right side of the paper similar to the image below

Draw round your hand

Nextly, with your right hand, place your middle finger and index finger on the sheet of paper but this time facing towards the left side

Using your left hand, draw round your hand

Draw a line to connect the top half of your hand drawing. In the middle of your hand drawing, draw a circle to represent the dragonfly's head

In the head of the dragonfly, draw two circles and two black coloured dots inside of them to make the eyes

Draw a line from the head going down towards the bottom of your hand drawing. Ensure this line then goes back up to the other side of the head similar to the image below.

Draw at the bottom of your dragonfly, around 7 or 8 ovals each connected to one another and each getting smaller as you go down to make the dragonfly's abdomen

Draw a smile in the head of your dragonfly ensuring it is drawn at the bottom of your eyes

Colour the head, body and abdomen in with a green pen

Colour the wings of the dragonfly in with a yellow pen

Draw four black lines in each of the wings similar to the image below
